Short answer
Questions about your data?
What we collect
When you submit any form on this site, we receive exactly the fields shown on that form — first and last name, email, phone, company, city, state or province, postal code, quantity, product type, service, grade and your message — plus the URL of the page you submitted from, so we know what you were reading when you asked.
Our server also sees your browser’s user-agent string and, as a technical necessity of any web request, your IP address. We store the user-agent alongside the enquiry for spam triage. We do not build behavioural profiles, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Why we collect it
To price and fulfil your request, and nothing else. Prior contents and grade decide what we can legally sell you; postal code decides freight; phone and email are how a trader replies. Quantity and product type decide whether your enquiry goes to the sales floor, the wash line or the recycling desk.
Who sees it
Our traders, and the lead-capture platform that hosts our enquiry database on our behalf as a data processor. When a request requires a partner yard to fulfil it, we pass the minimum needed to quote — typically product, quantity and destination postal code. We do not pass your contact details to a partner yard without telling you in the quote.
How long we keep it
| Record | Retention | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Active enquiry | 24 months from last contact | Repeat buyers reference prior orders constantly |
| Fulfilled order paperwork | 7 years | Tax, warranty and UN certification traceability |
| Prior-contents affidavits | Life of the container + 2 years | Grade traceability is a safety matter |
| Spam / rejected submissions | 30 days | Pattern detection, then deleted |
Your choices
- Access or correction. Email hello@reibcmarket.com and we will send you what we hold or fix what is wrong.
- Deletion. Ask and we delete, except records we are legally required to keep — order paperwork and certification affidavits, which we will identify specifically.
- No marketing by default. We do not run a newsletter. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to anything.

There is no advertising cookie and no behavioural profile. Product analytics on this site is aggregate and tells us which pages are read, not who read them.
From the Yard Journal
Longer pieces from the people who run the wash line, the test bay and the trading desk.
